There are no more natural fires on the territory of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region, but for safety reasons, the restriction on the use of forests continues to operate.
It was reported that during the period from 7 to 13 July, 24 natural fires were registered in an area of almost 427 hectares in the territory of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region. Since the beginning of the fire season in the region, 90 fires over a total area of 1,355 hectares have been extinguished.
The fire hazard season this year in the district was declared from 26 May until 1 October. Up to 25 July, there will be limitations for the population on visits to forests.
A corresponding document has been signed by the leadership of the Department of Natural Resource Management, Forestry and Development of the Oil and Gas Complex of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region.
